Like any charitable organization or non-profit group, The Veteran Tickets Foundation 501c(3) relies solely on the generosity of the public and our constituents for donations and financial support in carrying out the "Mission of Acknowledgment and Recognition."

Veteran Tickets Foundation is an all-volunteer organization. All donations and contributions directly supports getting Veterans and Active Duty Military with free or discounted tickets to all events.

The Foundation promotes its cause through events, fund raisers, and strategic partnerships with local businesses and corporations. Veteran Tickets Foundation hopes that YOU, your business and/or your corporation will consider making a donation or help by sponsoring one of our programs. We cannot carry on this mission without YOU!

There are a number of ways you can support Veteran Tickets Foundation!  Choose any of the following that best fit your ability to help or just donate now!

If you have extra tickets or gift certificates (merchandise or restaurants), consider donating them to Veteran Tickets Foundation.

You will receive an "In-Kind" receipt for the tickets donated. The value of that receipt can then be deducted from your taxes. Tickets, gift certificates, and gift cards will be used as part of the Foundations Military Tickets, Veteran Tickets and Hero's Wish programs. In all cases contributions of this kind will benefit individuals (veterans and active military) and their families who have been involved in all conflicts both Past and Present.

Your monetary contribution will directly support the work of the Foundation. Funds are distributed to support our "tickets" program. Veteran Tickets Foundation is an all-volunteer organization and we strive to keep administrative costs as low as possible so that more of your gift directly supports the "Mission of Acknowledgment and Recognition."

Decide what type of fundraiser you will have

Popular ideas that have been successful include: Golf Tournaments, Run/Walk/Bike/Swim events, Banquet/Dinner/Gala events, Company Fundraisers, School Fundraisers, Giving Circles, Paintball Tournaments, Concerts, Rugby Tournaments, Motorcycle Rides, Body Building and Athletic Competitions, Bake-Offs, Video Game Tournaments, Fishing Tournaments, Football, Lacrosse, and Rugby Games, and more!

When organizing a fundraiser or event to benefit Vet Tix, please bear in mind we do not support any fundraiser that is of a sexual, political, or religious nature.

Set a fundraising goal

When organizing a fundraising event, establish a realistic monetary goal and try to keep your costs low.

Let us know about your fundraiser

We would like to know about your event! Please contact Denise Bugallo in our Brand Development Department at 888.241.1550 to discuss logo usage, collateral available and other guidelines and materials we may be able to offer.

Make a plan

Establish a schedule of what you need to do. Start with the date the event will take place and work your way back to ensure you give yourself enough time to prepare all that is necessary to hold the event. Attention to detail is essential to the success of every event.

Collect funds

All monetary donations are tax deductible and we will send a letter of acknowledgment for all contributions. Donors/Supporters can use this letter for their tax records.

When receiving donations in cash, please provide an Offline Donation Tracking Excel File with names and addresses of the individuals who have donated in cash, and the amount donated by each individual. Also for the security of those donations, please convert them into a check before sending through the mail.

To ensure timely processing of your guests' donations, please send in the contributions as soon as possible. We are then able to send them the acknowledgment letter for their donation.

INDIVIDUALS:

Target, Expedia, Amazon, Ebay) a percentage of each purchase goes to your favorite charity.  You must click our link each time in order for Vet Tix to receive a commission

Our selection of military and camouflage clothing, patches, medals and other quality products can't be beat! Amazing causes has set up a store that you can send post cards to your friends, family, and peers thanking them for their service, to catch up, to tell them about VetTix, or whatever you want!  A portion of the proceeds will go directly back to the Veteran Tickets Foundation.

The Vet Tix Store!  This is the one and only place to purchase your Vet Tix merchandise!  Inside the store you will find Vet Tix Shirts, Jerseys, Hats, Pins, and other fine quality products.  Help us spread the word by wearing one of our shirts to the next free game you attend from Vet Tix.

The best way for us to keep our costs down and expand our programs is through the efforts of our volunteers. We need assistance with mailings, contacting veteran's organizations, and many other activities. You can promote the work of the Foundation simply by saying "Thanks" to the next Veteran or Active Duty Member of the armed services you see. Spotting a Veteran is easy. Look at the license plate of the car parked next to you at work. You may find the individual is a Purple Heart recipient or simply a Veteran of the Armed Forces.

Stop by a local recruiting station, nursing home, VFW, or American Legion and simply say "Thanks".
